Ex-CIA chief: Strike on Iran seems more likely now

WASHINGTON – A former CIA director says military action against Iran now seems more likely because no matter what the U.S. does diplomatically, Tehran keeps pushing ahead with its suspected nuclear program.

Michael Hayden, a CIA chief under President George W. Bush, says that during his tenure a strike was "way down the list" of options. But he tells CNN's "State of the Union" that such action now "seems inexorable."


What the Ex CIA chief meant to say was a strike by Israel on Iran more likely now.....

The truth is...America does not have the cohones to attack Iran nor IMO do they have at present time the expertise to do it without screwing things up!!

Israel will be thanked in private by the international community because of one glaring fact -- nobody else has the cahones to attack Iran.

Now don`t get me wrong there are no dillusions of grandeur. There will be casualties, possibly heav=y casualties but when everything is said and done the mission will be accomplished.

Do I wish to see any nation attack Iran...NO!!

It seems unlikely that the Israeli govt is as delusional as their most ardent fanbois, but sometimes it's hard to tell...

Attacking the Iranians would only set back their efforts, whatever they are, and would insure that the Iranians would kick out the IAEA and pursue nuclear weapons in earnest.

It might also precipitate a whole new way for the ROTW to deal with the mideast in general, one the Israelis might not find to their liking.
