EX Chipset and 700MHZ Celeron with slocket?

Anybody know if I can use a FCPGA Celeron with slocket adapter in a slot1 Intel EX Chipset mobo?

Yes it will work fine,Just make sure you flash to the latest bios to add the new celeron support.

What happens if I don't flash the BIOS?

computer might not boot at all.

If that happens then I could just put the old CPU back and then flash the BIOS, right?

I know what your gonna say, why not flash the BIOS first and save myself the trouble. It's not my computer. It's my friend's. It's a Packard Bell. I'm just afraid the flash will fail. It happened to me once before.
