Ok, so I am totally confused here. They are not going to jail for forcefully entering an innocent person's home and shooting them, but instead for trying to cover up the fact that they had no good reason to do it? That is flippin ridiculous.

well the theory was that the officers did not know the info was fake. but once they screwed up they tried to cover it up.


teh people that gave the false info should be in jail though.

I'm just glad to see when power is accountable. I'm sorry to see when it's abused, including when the officers are misguided and think breaking the rules is for a good cause.
