Interesting. The i7-6660U is... Skylake!? First that I've ever hear/seen of this model. Intel Iris Plus Graphics 540 according to ARK. (WM list 640, for some reason.)

So could this be roughly equivalent to an i7-6700? That wouldn't be so bad in a laptop. Oh, 2C/4T, so like a desktop Skylake i3, only with some Turbo added-on. Still, not too bad, but not 10th-Gen by any means.

This is the closest configuration I could find on Evoo's website. While not exactly the same specs it does say it uses ddr4. That's the trouble with a lot of these cheap Chinese laptops though. Accurate specs are hard to come by both on the retailers page and manufacturers websites. That gen of Intel cpus makes it especially hard to pin down because even desktop versions could use ddr3l variants.

Yep this particular cpu generation was before AMD ushered in the great purge. I find it of particular interest that Intels ARK page still shows this cpu as launched. Probably still being manufactured for cheap Chinese laptops like this.
