i firmly believe we broke it.

or rather, we as humans kicked its ass.

we no longer adapt to our environment, but rather adapt our environment to us.

only thing that can stop us now is the complete annihilation of all life on earth >_<

How can you beat evolution, when evolution doesn't have any goal or desired outcome?

It's like beating water.

Evolution is:

1. Genetic variability

2. Natural selection

Genetic variability is an ongoing process. Some genetic and phenotypic combinations are more likely to reproduce than others.

That about covers anything that needs to be said on the topic.

Is that that dancing game at the mall that all the teenage Asian kids play?

Of course evolution still exists for humans. It's just that the conditions for survival have been made much easier in a lot of places.

Evolution does not strive to constantly improve the species; rather, it states that those best suited to the current environment stand the best chance of successfully reproducing.

Those that aren't gonna produce offspring shouldn't be included in any discussion on the matter.

It's hard to argue that we arent destroying the planet. This is the highest, even most catastrophic rate of extinctions ever experienced by earth before. That's why we should get rid of these creationist fuckwads and be able to have better discussions about our impact on the world.

6 billion years of evolution, and since we humans like convenience we're clean wiping everything they've become in a single sweep within a few centuries.

Maybe we really do need a Baby Fark McGee-zax to straighten up our perceptions
