No it is you who are trying to give yourself a pat on the back for thinking that what I said took brilliance. It was merely inductive reasoning, something that intelligent people do all of the time. The theory of evolution is a theory about how evolution works. It is a fact that things evolved. About that there is not the slightest doubt any more that that tomorrow things will still fall. Whatever life we see in nature we see because it evolved. The fact that it looks like a motor means nothing at all. However unlikely it may seem it had to evolve. But that doesn't mean we know the nature of how it evolved. We just know that it evolved because evolution is a fact like the world is round. I know you are a person who believes that the world is flat and that you caught me in a round lie, but you live in a state of delusion.

as far as ecoli3 goes i have pretty much explained it..it has a biochemically powered electric motor that transmits power to a rotating flagella via a u joint and driveshaft system these are mechanical parts with the same function as thier man made counterparts traditional darwinism has no explanation of this and other "molecular machines" simply saying "well it eveolved from something else" is not an explanation,it is circular reasoning.

Other members of family Enterobacteriaceae survive and thrive in the gut without flagella, so clearly E.Coli is not irreducibly complex in itself. Perhaps you want to focus the discussion on the flagellum itself as a supposedly irreducibly complex feature, as that seems to be your primary focus?

Many of the names in that list aren't biologists and frankly some of the ones that I recognize are kooks (Frank Tipler and Michael Behe for two), and frankly, the argument from authority never proved anything, even when the vast majority of relevant authorities aren't against your position as they are in this case.

No, I'm sure that God ecoli evolved, but that God created the flagellum because carpenters know people in the electriocal trades and He could have gotten an electric motor from one of them.
