I've heard a few things that I would like confirmed true or false...

2 stick of Ram will lower my overclock vs. one stick?

running RAID 0 on my board will hinder my overclock?

Also, can I increase the AGP voltage to say 1.65 V to give more power to the northbridge, hence, helping to stabilize my overclock?

Whats the problem with half-multipliers, why does everyone say stay away from them?

From my experience, those are both false.

1. Ram doesn't affect your CPU overclock. Only how far you can overclock Ram, and running 2 sticks vs 1 stick should not make any difference. However your ability to overclock ram will most likely be diminished by using 4 sticks vs 2 sticks.

2. As long as you have a good power supply with enough amps, using a Raid0 array will not affect your overclock

I,m currently running a Raid0 (2 x 74gb raptors) and 1gb of memory 2 x 512. And my 3200+(stock 2ghz) is overclocked to 2.6ghz with zero problems.

does anyone have any experience with my board, are all of the sata voltages locked, or can i only run raid and an overclock on 2 of my slots.

If you're overclocking with this board you can only use SATA ports 3 and 4, which are locked. SATA 1 and 2 are not locked and, therefore, can not be used at all if you are overclocking.

Raising the AGP voltage is sometimes necessary when overclocking the video card. I would not recommend touching the AGP voltage as it will not make your CPU/RAM overclock any more stable.

As for the 1/2 multipliers, someone over at Sudhian.com wrote an article last fall where he theorized that they didn't work right. That was later debunked. Here's a link:

1) 2 stick of Ram will lower my overclock vs. one stick?

It won't lower your overclocking at all. If you have dual channel, you are further ahead using 2 sticks instead of one!!!!

2) running RAID 0 on my board will hinder my overclock?

No it will not hinder your overclock at all. Just be sure that the SATA ports you use for
the RAID are locked.

3) Also, can I increase the AGP voltage to say 1.65 V to give more power to the northbridge, hence, helping to stabilize my overclock?

Yes... yes you can. Try to find examples of others before going nuts though.

4) Whats the problem with half-multipliers, why does everyone say stay away from them?

Not all bios's allow for half multipliers... I think most people are looking to others for a good setup... and since most don't use the half multipliers... well you see where I am going with this... lol.
