Honestly, it's a more efficient way of moving people and goods around. Of course, as Americans, we think we need a Ford F350 dually capable of towing 14,000lbs just to pick up a Christmas tree or when we need a few bolts from the hardware store.

Not quite what I meant. I mean that in the poor countries they do what gets the job done. What works at the moment. No real planning, just what seems right at that moment in time.

And the reason why people hate american's isn't because of people like me, it is because we tend to think we know everything and get involved in everything that has nothing to do with us.
