anyone have any input on Evil Genius?

I played the demo but there really wasn't a whole lot to do in it so I couldn't really get a good feel for the game.

i'm so burnt out on my current games i need something to play but i just can't find anything that really interests me.
 
I think it is worth playing, it has a great sense of style and humor. I remember the demo only showed a small part of gameplay, like just the basebuilding (with few options) and maybe you had to fend off an attack. In the full game you send henchmen out on a world map to get money and such, and there are traps and more aspects of the basebuilding to deal with. I bet it would not be too expensive for you since it is almost 2 years old now. And since you are burnt out I suggest you give it a try. If that sort of game interests you I think you will enjoy it.
 
its $20 on direct2drive. i could probably get it cheaper if i wanted to wait. i dunno yet.

the game does sound interesting i love building bases and stuff in rts games and i do tend to like games like sim city, even if i don't really understand them.
 
Extremely redundant gameplay, didn't have the same level of fun as dungeon keeper. Dungeon Keeper managed to keep the game fresh by allowing your minions to level up where as Evil Genius only your 3 or so henchmen can level up.
