EVIL BSOD with a Fatal error 0d

I have a computer that I have tryed everything short of reinstalling windows to get it to work. Everytime it starts up I get the BSOD that wont go away with the enter key. if it helps the EXACT message is,

"A Fatal Error Exception 0d has occurred at 203F:00000316. The current Application will be terminated." Then it tells me the diffrent ways I can turn of my computer. thnx for any help.

How come nobody responds to my posts. Currently I have 2 options, Reinstall windows 98 (Format it) and Try to uninstall everything. please Help!!!!!

its win98... its crap... format it and install something else, its riddled with bugs like this

win2k/XP might serve you well if they are readily available... otherwise I would reinstall (with format) (backup your data!)
