evidence eliminator detection/problems?

I posted this one in the software forum with no results, so I thought I might beg here....I have an account with my company where I can log into the corporate lan from outside lines, so I can use it when I travel. Our company doesn't want you going to message board sites from within. Would a program like evidence eliminator cause a problem on their network if I put it on my laptop and used it when I was traveling? Would it be detected? I would like to keep up on my message boards, but not at the cost of our network or my job!

If they do not want you to do it, best thing is to not do it. If it is their equipment and their connection, let them have their way. If it is your equipment and your connection, fsck them. Just make sure you dont use the message boards while sending out email to your boss and they should not have a problem.

If it's not authorized, chances are it maybe monitored. Chances not worth taking the risk.

If you really want to browse the message boards, prove to them that you are gaining knowledge and not just posting in Off Topic or something.

Good luck!
