Buying a 6800GS off someone which isn't but a few days old. He is sending a copy of the invoice and I was curious before I bought it if Evga was stricked on their warranty or even asked for proof of purchase? I heard they have some of the best support. I will be saving $50 by buying it used then going to Egg.

Think I would have any trouble RMA'ing if I ever needed to?

eVGA's warranty is not transferrable.
Unless you feel like modding the original invoice which is bad.
Just make sure he didn't register the card.

so if he didn't register it I should be fine if I ever have to RMA it? Can anyone confirm if they do require receipt/invoice before they will accept it?

Oh for registration. If the invoice was before 90 days, don't worry, just register it. They'll ask for invoice if you didn't register it after 90 days. But they will ask for the retailer you bought the invoice from and when did you buy it.
