DDR != GDDR, AFAIK.
I think all those sites are just quoting XFX's PR, which in turn is just quoting nV's 6800-series PR. I wouldn't expect 16 pipes or GDDR3 on a $300 card. Click on the detailed specs link on the Tiger Direct page and you see (beyond the obvious typo of "352" rather than 325MHz) the XFX must be 12 pipe, as 325MHz * 12 pipes gives you the quoted "3.9 billion pixels" per second fillrate. There's also no sense in offering 350MHz GDDR3, when supplies are tight enough as it is just supplying memory for the relatively low-volume GTs and Pros.
Dual DVI is a nice feature, though. The XFX also has an interesting game bundle, with X2 and Commandos 2 (and MotoGP2? I can't tell). The DVI and bundle may offset the eVGA's superior HSF.
