evga video card quality?

Evga appears to have a pretty good price/performance ratio. How are they as far as quality goes? I built my last system about 4 years ago and it seems like most of the current video card vendors didn't even exist back then.

I was considering BFG, but the Evga cards might be a better deal if the quality is there.

Thanks,
BGC

eVGA is now known as probably the best video card OEM due to it's no-questions asked lifetime warranty. (Un-intenional stuff, natural stuff. :p)

eVGA > BFG.

In have an eVGA 6800GT agp that is a little over a year old zero problems but it's not much of an overclocker. I bought an eVGA 7800GTX the day they came out and it's a crazy overclocker. both cards have served me well so far and evga has a nice tech support board.

i'm a big evga fan. they use all reference design coolers though so if you were thinking of the 6600gt agp for example i'd look elsewhere. or plan on an after market cooler.

but i've owned ~10 of their cards and i love them.

great support and lifetime warranty now too.

eVGA is hands down the best Customer Service I've ever dealt with.

I have an eVGA 6800GT AGP and I love it. Overclocks stably about 60mhz on stock cooling with minimal problems. They have fantastic customer service, but I've never needed it. Bought this card @ Crimis 05 for 399.99 and never looked back. eVGA forever!

I have the eVGA 7800GTX and it ROCKS!!!. Overclocks easily and significantly while retaining a lifetime warranty. The KO version has a better heatsink but you can buy the upgraded heatsink later if you need to save a few bucks now. This also does NOT void your warranty.

Owner of an EVGA 5900NU, 6800GT, and now a 6600GT PCIE for my HPTC.
Their cards are solid from my experience.

So far I've had an eVGA FX5200 and going to order the 7800GTX + SLI motherboard. eVGA support is phenomenal. I've never dealt with BFG or OCZ, but I can tell you that eVGA is among the best support (tied with Apple) that I've seen of any product I've owned.

I got me one of those evga 6800 Limited Editions and was able to flash it to an Ultra almost a year ago. It has been running perfectly fine 400/1100 day in day out and gamming 4hrs a day avg.

I feel the quality manufacturers are all based either in US or Europe. BFG and EVGA are US companies, Elsa was German before it went bankrupt. Gainward is under a Taiwanese congloemerate Palit I think but its HQ is in Munich.
