I loved it. The only thing is that they won't ship your new card until they get the old card. So I'd suggest buying a 7600GS that you know you could get rid of/sell to use between.

BTW, upgraded my 7900GS to a 8800GTS for about $120. Got it right when the 8800GTS's were dropping a bit in price.

Sentrosi, do you just pay shipping for your old card there and they send you the upgraded card, or you must pay for shipping both ways?

Both ways. That's why I passed on my step-up in March.

It would've cost me ~$200 to step up from 7950GT SC to basic 8800GTS.

And only the basic model cards are offered - no superclocked versions are available, and they all are all sold at MSRP, usually much higher than the current store prices.

It is still a good program if you feel you want to upgrade - but you should know what is available and what is involved in the process.

I believe you pay the difference of the actual price you paid for your card and the MSRP of the new card you are upgrading too.

The receipt is required - they even make you download the receipt in the .jpg format during registration.

Unfortunately they only accept the actual price you paid for the "old" card, but you MUST pay their MSRP for the new one, plus shipping both ways.

Still OK, if that's what you want - as long as you know the conditions.
