i sorta unstand how it works but want to make sure. First off i might just buy the 6800nu and send it back when gts come in stock
Say i buy the NU for $290. I want to get the gt in say 3-4 weeks. How this program work? Do i get full price of the card i bought put towards the gt or do they take a % off

looks like you gotta wait at least 90 days, but it looks like they use your full purchase price you already paid. now that's sweet!

now these evga cards have definately caught my eye. 6800NU now and wait for newer cards and trade it in for the full value towards a new card. YES PLEASE!

not wait atleast 90 days.... you must trade up with in 90 days.

I also noticed in AT new Doom3 article the mention of the eVGA 6800UE (bit of a negative though) which I had heard wasn't going to be offered by eVGA, so if it becomes available..another choice!

Just FYI.... they aren't offering an Ultra Extreme. However... you can sign up to be picked for 5 lucky winners each week for an unofficial Ultra Extreme. It seems like the list is made up of ebay auctioneers. Every time someone wins you will see these cards up at ebay 🙁

I think it is just a coincedence as the chip only loads around 70C and they said it wasn't stable at GT speed either. I think that its just an unlucky try.

Thats the negative I mentioned🙂 No retail eVGA 6800UE then, I don't think that would be an issue for me anyway. I "may" step up to a GT, but I doubt even an Ultra is in my future.
