EVGA Precision won't start up automatically?

Hey guys, I just formatted my whole PC and reinstalled Windows (was having some issues but now sort of kicking myself for starting this whole process, but anyways, here I am, in the thick of it), now EVGA Precision will not boot up when I start Windows. Does anybody know what could cause this? I am at my wits end as the start up box is check, as far as I know that should do it.

Much thanks,

So what was the solution? I have been trying to figure out a way for Afterburner to autostart when using a standard user account and have not been successful. The only way I can get it to work is to login with an admin account which I do not want to do.

I have the same issue with AB. If anyone knows a solution please post it.

there's actually a setting in the menu for the EVGA program

I was thinking it was that "startup" button on the front there, but that's just to apply the profile when the program starts, not to start the program when windows starts

Thanks Future. I tried using the "start program when Windows starts" option, but it does not work unless I login using an admin account.

I will try starting it using the Task Scheduler as Charlie mentioned.

this is probably dumb and not gonna work, but i have a .exe i wanted to run on startup (an hkey for volume control) and I just simply dropped it into the Startup folder.

i imagine if you that youll still need provide admin credentials though.

I haven't had a whole lot of luck with that... including dropping simple things like the RealTemp .exe trace in there.... I get the red circle. YMMV
