evga or leadtek for 6800gt?

which one should i get, leadtek i hear has better cooling but the fan for it is huge and won't allow me to upgrade to SLI in the future

Are you sure it wouldn't allow for another card? I don't know of any motherboard that doesn't have at least one slot between the two pci-e slots. If you decide that you don't need the option to upgrade to sli, you might as well get an x800xl, because by the time games need sm3 the 6800gt will be outdated and you can get a next gen card. xl is 100 bucks cheaper too.

get the EVGA...Leadtek though has a much better stock cooling!!

it depends...the 6800GT AGP is similarily priced as the X800XL...the PCIe version is still expensive...if ur going PCI-e get the X800XL, if ur goin AGP then only get the 6800GT

im probably gonna play doom3, source, half lfie 2 etc...will i notice a BIGH difference betwee n the 6800gt and the x800xl???

Not big enough to warrant a 100 dollar difference - if you go pcie at least. Although, you'll want pcie for upgradability.

yup...depends on what path ur taking...PCI-e or AGP, i would suggest goin PCI-e since AGP will phase off in a year's time
