Either going to get a 5900 or 5700, but need to know which manufacturer is better:

1) support
2) quality

Does either have better 2D quality over the other?

Then ofcourse it comes down to package...

As far as which manufacturer is better, I can't recommend you. But I can say it would be foolish to get a fx5700 when they cost more than an fx5900, yet perform worse.
 
I have a eVGA 5900nu and have been benchmarking at 515/1000, Its a great card.

I think both the eVGA and BFG have 2.2ns memory (475mhz) <<5900nu
 
My BFG has 2.2ns memory, and it has a very quiet custom heatsink\fan on it.

EDIT: Haven't OCed yet, waiting on a new power supply (should be here Friday).
