I know these are old video cards but still decent. Just keep wondering if I should of went with the EVGA Nvidia RTX 2070 super instead?

Would it have really helped in games like Planet Coaster or not really ?

Don't really play very many FPS shooters anymore.

Of course the EVGA Nvidia RTX 2060 super is not horrible.

It is a bit late now to worry about which one would have been the right choice. Even in GPU bound games, they aren't really very different. If it was 2060 super or 2080 Ti, then sure, that would be a big difference, (in GPU bound games) but of course there was a big price difference. As mentioned, planet coaster isn't even GPU bound.

From what I understand planet coaster is more of a CPU hog than gpu.
Yep. It can make the GPU work a bit if you turn the settings all up to maximum, but even on max settings my GTX 1060 3GB doesn't have any problem keeping up.

The main bottleneck is all of the CPU calculations for visitor pathing, thoughts, actions, rides, etc., especially when your park starts getting really big. Parks with 10K+ visitors, and very elaborately decorated, still don't push my GPU to 100%, but they seriously stress my Ryzen 9 3900X CPU...
