EVGA NF4 SLI

Is that EVGA SLI board they are basically giving away (well, $44 for us Canadians) with their 7800GTs any good?

I know it's a rebadged Jetway, which OCs well, but what about for people who don't OC, don't plan to ever use SLI, and want something really stable? Is it a good deal, or is it better to spend more money on something else??

I have one and for someone that is not going to overclock I think this board is just fine. The only issues I have with mine is with overclocking. Not getting quite as much out of my cpu as I did with a different board. A lot of people reported problems with wrong temp readings. I for one did not encounter this problem. One other issue is with using the Thermalright XP-90 HSF. You have to modify the backplate a little. But since you are not into OCing I doubt you would have this HSF.

There you are. I say get it.

The stock HSF is fine for non-OC uses, right? This would probably be with a 3800+ X2, as I doubt my budget could allow much faster...

(I'm new to AMDs - longtime Intel fan who has basically been convinced...)
