With EVGA the warranty covers removing the stock heat sink and using an aftermarket HSF. It also let's you overclock. It doesnt transfer like XFX does though.

Maybe this isn't as bad as it seems.
In the UK, "bullocks" means your absolutely **** about something: These taxes are bullocks. However, referring to something as being the "dog's bullocks" means it's the top of it's class. So by XFX subliminally saying EVGA is the "dog's drool" they're saying EVGA is top in it's class.

Haha... that is awesome. My past 3 video cards were: EVGA 7800GTX, EVGA 7900GTO, now currently XFX 8800GTX (I need to get back to an ATI card... my 9600XT, which I love, is still chuggin along). Both are fine companies in my book

Sry to hear that m8. I'm talking from personal experience with EVGA products thus far with which I had no issue whatsoever and they were highly O/Cable..
OTOH my experience by itself, means jack $hit but I guess statistically speaking EVGA is considered one of the best if not the best..
