I'm wondering if the model with out the ending AX, DX, or FX has a lifetime warranty!

I've tried about 4 times to get ahold of evga!!!! waiting about 1+ hours on hold!!!

what should I do I'm calling this number:

Please feel free to call us first for any needed support at (888) 881-EVGA (3842) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

that was taken directly from their site:
http://www.evga.com/support/lifetime/

Im figuring no according to the site. And if you look at the pics of the box on newegg, the one ending in AX advertises a lifetime warranty, the other does not.

Edit: Maybe ask them why if you get them on the line, im kind of curious myself.

i never had a problem getting through to them the couple times i've called. of course it wasn't a sunday nite/monday am.

they're also usually very prompt responding to emails so maybe shoot them a mail in the meantime.

iirc, any evga card made from july 05 onward has the lifetime warranty, including all gtx's.

alright:\ I'll email them.

But just so you know I did try all through sunday and now late tonight or you could say early today.....

Why would one eVGA 7800GT have lifetime warranty, and the other not?
Like Rise4310 said, any card made July 5th onward has the lifetime warranty, and all 7800GTs were made after that date.

The evga 7800GT CO (copper) has a copper heatsink instead of aluminum. Yes they have the lifetime warranty they just haven't updated some of the boxes yet. I called evga this morning and got through in about 30 seconds. Evga has some of the best customer support anywhere. They're probably just busy with people calling about the 512MB GTX's or something.

This isn't always true. I have a NON-CO 7800GT, and it OCs to 510/1200. I started a thread on 7800GT OCing, and so far all four models of eVGA's 7800GTs have about the same OCing headroom. I got the NON-CO cuz it came with a FREE SLI mobo!
