EVGA H55V works with i3's but not i5's?

I have access to many CPUs and motherboards. I put an i5 in an EVGA H55V and it would not post. I tried an i3 in the board, and it DID post. Same set up. So when i swapped out the CPU a day later thinking that it was a bad CPU, it still will not post. No i5 CPUs will post in the board, but any i3 i throw at it will. Am i doing some thing wrong? is there a bios flash available i cannot find? i am at a loss. Im told the H55v should have no issues with my current set up. And im kind of pressed for time. The rest of the rig is correct and should work, if the i3 is working. But its not.

EDIT::::::::::::::
By chance i stumbled on to this thread linked here: http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx [...] e=1#330303

Turns out if you use the i5 or i7 on this board, the onboard video is ... DISABLED???? so i tried a GT 210, and it is POSTING. WTF? any one know how to fix THAT issue?

The integrated video is on the i3 package itself(on a different chip though) so you can't use the integrated graphics because there is none.

As Dark4ng3l said - the Intel integrated graphics are built into the i3 CPU! The i5 and i7's don't have integrated graphics on the CPU package at all.

So, you need to either use a CPU with an integrated GPU, or a PCI-e video card.
