I made the mistake of tring to upgade my PC decined I would be better off with a Mac pro instead.
I spent a lot on this Video card, and I now they sale a GTX 285 for the mac but if there is a way I could use this card instead of the AtI one or buying a new mac version it would be a big improvement.
This would also make me fell better about the money I alrady spent for this card.

There are 2 ways.

1) If you like soldering, you can replace the BIOS chip on the card with something bigger. http://netkas.org/?p=111

2) If you don't like soldering and have a spare legit NV Mac card, you can use it to trick Mac OS X in to using the GTX 285. http://netkas.org/?p=117

So he can use the card that comes with his Mac Pro to trick OS X into accepting the GTX285, that's an interesting method.

K thanks that sounds like more than what I want to try with a new Mac Pro if I had it for a year or too I may consider doing that, I dont want to void the warranty.
