Microcenter has the overclocked model (majorly overclocked) for $231. Most of the competitors that have the same specs are ~$300 or more. I just picked up this card day before yesterday and it runs awesome.

With the introduction of the 4850 x2 these gtx 260s will have to drop a ton to stay competitive. The 4850 x2 can be had for $225 and it destroys the gtx 260.

yes the one for $224 FS/AR is a great deal

It even beats a gtx285, so you know it'll beat a 260.

I wish i had gotten a 4850x2, instead of a 260, but I planned to get a 2nd 260 for sli later on down the road.

Saying the card is 2 gb is a little misleading. Technically, even though the card has a total of 2 gb ram, each gpu only sees and uses 1 gb; likewise, the 1 gb card only has 512 mb for each processor. I don't think the 4850 processor is powerful enough to fully utilize 1 gb of ram on its own.

Reviews have shown 1GB models of the 4850 to perform better than the 512mb models. It may not make good use of ALL of the extra RAM, but every little bit helps on GPUs this good.
