I can set 2x, quinicox,or 4x antialaising from my additional properties box from my desktop settings. Or I can set it in game 2x, 3x or 4x in Max payne. Which is the best place to set it or does it not matter. Whwn I try to set it in Max PAyne at 4x it wont run, if I set to 2x or 3x in MAx payne or if I set it to 2x or quinicux from my desk top it will run but I occasionly get "OUT OF VIDEO MEMORY IN VERTEX BUFFER CREATION" The wierd thing is, with antialaing turned on I don't see much of a fps drop it just occasionly crashes.
I'm trying to run the game at 1152x864, all settings maxed, filtering mode antistropic, 2x or quinicox antialaising enabled.
AMD 1800+
epox 8kha+
windows 98
512 megs pc 2100
geforce 3 ti-500 version 21.83

Any tips on using Antialaising would be greatly appreciated.
What is the cause of that error code?

Thanks alot.......Fred

I think I've answered my questions, Antisotrpic filtering and any form of AA combined with anything over 1024x768 resolution are too much for the card to handle. I'm going to mess with res. and AA settings in MAx PAyne and see what it can handle. I'll report my findings...If anyone really cares....

keep posting FredLocks. Just got Wolfenstien and it is actually the first game I've ever bought/played (except for a couple nights of demo MechWarrior/UT). Anyways I've no idea what most of the settings do.
