A longer warranty is always good for consumers, and they offer some really good units (especially the Super Flower made units), but I think they almost had to do this since Seasonic has been steadily increasing their warranty lengths, with their Prime units already coming with a 12 year warranty, and their Focus Plus line featuring 10 year warranties. I do wish they had offered this longer warranty to current owners of these units, but oh well, that's just how it works out sometimes.
