definitely a hot deal--I just got the SSC version 2 weeks ago for $430 AR. GTX280 runs games smoother than the already powerful GTX260, but also quite a bit hotter.

Ya 55nm GTX 285 is expected in January, however MSRP is also expected to be at least $400-450.

Expreview GTX 285

Clocks expected to be 10% faster, significantly less power, cooler and will only require 2 x 6-pin PEG connectors.

This deal is definitely hot on the GTX 280 though.

that would be seriously overpriced then, considering they can fit more dies on a wafer PLUS the GPU remains the same with only slightly better performance (a factory overclocked 65nm 280 will beat the the 55 nm version).
