Nice price on a budget build / back-up PSU. I have this unit that I picked up on sale, and I use for bench testing purposes, and it's a nice little unit.

IMO, a lot better buy than taking a chance on many of the unknown brand Chinese units sold on Amazon by 3rd party sellers.

HEY!!!! They have been running since then, one half a day, the other 24/7 and been good so far, and it was Amazon btw, 850watt for $20 shipped, even on its worse day will put out more then 450 :O

We'll see if you are still happy in a year. That's the time period many of the generics/unknown units fail within.

I also forgot about JonnyGuru opening up the one he ordered, and your post was a reminder to do that.

Still no official update of the pics inside the unit funboy6942 bought. The latest response from JonnyGuru was two weeks ago:

Now someone else in China is telling me it's Pangu Power (aka Sun Yung... pretty close to Son Yang). That makes a little more sense.

I like that they use the Insane Clown Posse logo as their logo.

I'm going to have to check them out.

I'll upload some more "up close" photos by this weekend and then start working on the 750W.
