This is the link to the eVGA auction on a 7800GTX that will be signed by the president of Nvidia. All proceeds are going to the red cross in support of what is going on the the south. As well, eVGA has pledged to match 100% of the price on this card. If you are in need of a very nice (and collectors edition) of this card and you have a little bit of $$ to spend, go take a look, It is for an excellent cause!!!

Linky

10 Day auction BTW!!

I wouldnt donate a turd to that place. Sorry to say, but the idiots are shooting down helicopters, killing soldiers... as far as im concerned, i would do crap for that place. Let the levies go.

I feel bad for the innocent, dont get me wrong, but the idiots deserve what they get.

I would bid if it wasnt the red cross.

Im not paying the outrageous salaries of those asshats. The CEO/President makes over $650,000 a year, in a CHARITY.

They were SELLING blankets for $5 a pop to victims during 9.11

Its a big, inefficient pile of crap that preys on humanities want to help others.

I saw some numbers on how much money per dollar actually goes to help those in need, the red cross was near the bottom. Ill try to find the link.

Lol you don?t think some one with their organisational /business skills is going to work for free, I think if you did a cost benefit analysis, it would benefit the organisation a lot more with their particular skills to offer, so to move the organisation forward and excel.

But... its a non-profit organization.

Typical salary for the CEO of a huge charity is around $100,000-150,000.

Even massive ones like the salvation army have a top salary of ~$260,000

The red cross burns money like theres no tomorrow.
