About 2 weeks away from purchasing this particular card, does anyone here have experience or currently own such a card?My case can fit only a 10.5'' card and this card appears to be the cheapest on the list of cards not exactly reference which i want to avoid.

Newegg claims the ACX gtx760 is 9.5'' long, the dual fans and the overall cooler is pleasing to the eye but the asus dc2 at 8.6'' would make for a nicer fit but kinda hung up on which choice would be best.

Had a Evga FTW gtx670 reference based card a while back, the noise, heat and relentless stutter had me getting rid of it and at 10.5'',the card was a pain in the ass to install but barely fit...hoping the ACX would offer the experience i am looking for.;)

I have the Asus GTX 760 DC2 and the card is very quiet even at full load. It requires one 8-pin PCI-E power connector. The card appears to be a nice little overclocker as well. I haven't touched the memory, but I've got the core clock up to 1250 with no problems at all.

One odd thing I noticed and not directly related to the ASUS card, but Afterburner is now in "offset" mode. Instead of entering the desired speed like before, you know enter the offset. Example: Whereas before I would set the core at 1250 now I set an offset +178.

I've had plenty of EVGA cards in the past. They've been very reliable, and good overclockers but they all made noise; some excessive amounts. I'm coming off of 2X560 SLI; one card was EVGA and the other was ASUS. The EVGA card was noisy right from day one while the ASUS was almost silent; the main reason why I went with ASUS for the 760.

YMMV.

I was reading up on the reviews from guru3d and techpowerup for the DC2,seems to be getting praised and with its small size and the fact it only needs a single 8 pin over the others calling for a 6+8 makes for a cleaner cable arrangement.

Definitely the DC2 - better out of the box boost speeds and better cooling at load from the reviews i've seen.

I prefer eVGA just from experience. I had 2 Asus 512MB 8800GT SLI and both cards died in less than a year. I then bought 2 eVGA GTX 460 1GB SLI and they were both overclocked to 827/1654/4100 @ 1.000v for well over 3 years without a hiccup. They weren't loud at all.

I am currently running 2 eVGA GTX 760 4GB SLI overclocked to 1230/7000 at stock voltage. I can't believe the speed increase over my old eVGA GTX 460 1GB SLI setup even at my 'lowly' resolution of 1680x1050.

I've got the 4GB version of the EVGA GTX 760 with ACX. I'm a bit partial to EVGA but it seems like a great card so far and I don't hear it at all. Then again, I'm deaf in one ear!

Think when the time comes to pick it up,if either card is on sale i will go with the cheaper of the two or if they are at the same price most def gonna be the Asus and actually now am eyeballing the shortest of the gtx760s sitting at 7.68'' being the zotac amp! edition,it would fit just fantastically in my case.

Been partial to Evga over the years but the Asus card just looks just that more awesome as also does the zotac amp! edition.

My gtx650 is from Zotac and it has been great but honestly this card has been the first nvidia card i have owned since 2007 that hasn't been Evga with the 7800gs i got from BFG which got replaced with my first Evga being a 8800gts 512mb.:)
