Since when does an identical card get 20 lower FPS with 256 more VRAM?
I don't really trust those readings, since I've never heard of the site.
(8800GT 512 vs 8800GT 256)

Agree, most of their numbers don't make any sense at all.....

The numbers in Expreview is REALLY interesting. The 256MB part keeps up with the 512MB part in almost every benches (save for few FPS). The only major difference is the 1920x1200 DX-10 Ultra-High Bioshock number. It looks like 8800GT is very efficient at using its memory or the bandwidth is sufficiently wide. Now if we can see some Crysis benchmarks, then we can be really sure of the 256MB part's ability.
