Is the memory and fan used any different between EVGA 8800 GTX regular, Superclocked and KO versions? I am trying to decide if I should take my chances on OC'ing the regular one myself.

Wanted to wait until R600 comes out to compare, but I can't wait any longer.

Thanks for any help and insights.

Same cooler and memory on all versions (except ACS3 obviously w/cooler).
Standard 8800GTX should easily do 620core 950memory.
Superclock / KO = marketing

RivaTuner's great for XP, useless in Vista. I upgraded to Vista, bit the bullet, and flashed my standard EVGA 8800GTX in order to overclock using NiBiTor. You can even bump up the shader clock. I flashed mine to a conservative 621core, 950memory, 1400shader. No problems.

XP or Vista, overclock that puppy... :)

Oh, adding a PCI slot cooler under a GTX helps tremendously, at least with case temps.
