This seemed to me to be a decent price overall, for an 850W 80Plus Gold PSU, with 100% Japanese caps. Basically $90 AMIR (Edit: $70 after MIR and Promo!) and ship, plus tax if applicable. That's what some 650W-750W Gold PSUs go for.
Of course, for some applications, an 850W may be overkill, but ... it's usually better to have too much wattage available, than too little, and I'm a fan of the "50% PSU load sweet-spot" theory, that longevity is maximized with the PSU running at roughly 50% overall capacity. I'm not really a fan of specifying a PSU with a max just above the nominal load, I think that tends to wear out PSUs sooner.
Edit: One note about Newegg and MIRs. If you cut out the UPC from the box, Newegg WILL NOT allow you to return the item. So test the PSU for a few days or however long you can before sending in the MIR before the rebate term expires.
