EVGA 790i/Vista 64 Audio problem

I can't get any audio from my EVGA MB Realtek HD Audio. I've tried about everything and am beginning to think its the MB. EVGA tech support is easy to reach but noone there actually has a computer with a 790i MB and Vista 64 to look at.

I really want to run digital sound but right now I'm just trying to get any sound(analog). I'm using Realtek 1.91 driver and the latest chipset drivers from EVGA. I have a sound icon and a realtek HD audio icon in control panel and they both seem to do the same thing but there are some differences.

When I open the Realtek icon there is a panel on the right which shows graphics of the input jacks on the rear and front panels. The top graphic shows the rear input jacks and currently I'm using the green jack with a pair of small computer speakers. I have another computer next to this one with Vista Basic. When I plug the speakers into the Vista Basic computer they work fine so I know the speakers are working. The top graphic is also faded, like it is not active and I wonder if this is the way it looks if the analog sound is working(EVGA support doesn't know).

If anyone has a 790i motherboard and could look at this it may be helpful. I've also tried both digital coax and Optical connections with no luck.
Thanks for any help but I have a feeling this is going to be RMA'd.
