Hi everyone I bought a evga 7900Gt Signature Series an when I play for a short period of time in Fear, and the Prey demo with the graffics maxed I experiment artifacts and then my pc crash. Is the card broke or is possible that is some things else?

Odds are its the card, which is a disappointment since you just shelled out big bucks for the top of the line signature series.
But try the latest drivers first.

Yeah tell me about it, I'm using the 91.31 forceware and before thta I had the 84.21 and hd the same problem
My system specs are:
Psu Coolermaster purepower 550W
Amd Athlon 64 4000+ Clawhammer
Asus A8N-SLI Premium
Case Thermaltake Soprano 2 120mm fan, 1 90mm fan, vantec fan card for cooling the gpu

By the way I've never overclock the card and the max temp messure by Nvtemplogger is 85C, but it says that the top is 130C

85C is a little bit hot!
That is max while playing a game?

What are your case and CPU temperatures?
Can you run prime95 for an hour without crashing?

See if you can downclock the card, BUT ASK eVGA FIRST!!!!!! Don't risk voiding your warranty especially when you may have to RMA or return.
That said, downclock the card a bit using coolbits, and see if the artifacts go away and if your system becomes stable. Seems these cards are too big for their britches being clocked so high right from the start.

What are you asking us for? Isn't free 24/7 priority tech support part of the signature series features? Get a new card cross-shipped asap. My guess is the clocks are just too high. If you really want to fix it yourself, grab some aftermarket cooling and turn the volts up to 1.3/1.4 (1.1 is stock on those and 1.4 is gtx iirc)

1.2V is stock voltage, and yes 1.4 is GTX voltage.

Anyways, eVGA should be helping you with this RIGHT NOW, its what you payed extra for....

^^ Both true.

I hope you know what you bought when you went for the signature series and didn't just buy it because it had a cool box and nice looking cooler. You paid extra for Premiere support from eVGA. Use it. :D

Check your airflow and then email them. If it doesn't work out of the box.... :(

Suppose we should check:

what temps are you getting on CPU? and again, is it stable in non GPU intensive apps? How long have you had this baby? If it is otherwise stable, its a video card issue. if your temps are ok except for this, maybe the heat sink isnt getting good contact. if its not any of that, then the core is bung (this wouldnt bwe a surprise), and evga should be sending you a new one.

Hope that helps.

incorrect....signature series 7900gt is 1.2v in 2d and 1.45v in 3d mode. just get them to x-ship another one.

Well, the card does run 1.45v in 3d mode, and the little dinky HS probably can't handle it.

Try another HS (like a better one) and see if it still has the problem. If it still artifacts then it's probably the card. Just contact evga and I'm sure the'll send you another one probably next day air (ok, maby next day air).

Also, try the XG 91.31 modified drivers just to try somthing different.
