GONNA TRY HIGHER TOMORROW *G*

The HTT multiplier will run at 5x (1000 Mhz) by default, but for overclocking you should lower it to 4x (some would even say 3x). I guess you just want to keep that speed at around 1000 Mhz, so if your FSB is 280, set it to 4x and the HTT speed will be 4x280 = 1120 and it should be OK

QFT!!!

(quoted for truth in case you don't know)

Couldn't say it better myself.

I'm burning in Ceramique on a new Opteron 146 tonight...... Priming at 2.9g right now.... this puppy might get 3Ghz! Only 40C loaded at 1.5v.

Opty146 @ 2.9Ghz

If she kicks out of P95 tonight I'll make a pass again, but I'd like to burn this in for 24hrs first. Once my rig is back in my case and has some airflow, I'll really push it. It's just laying on the bench right now with no airflow except the HSF.

Set it to 3

3 x 280 = 840

Think it should not be higher than 1000. Am i right?
