Hi,

I have bought an new System and now i am going crazy :(

DFI Lanparty UT nF4 SLI-DR Expert
AMD 64 Sandjego 3700+ (runs @ 2.800 Ghz)
OCZ DIMM 1GB DDR-600 Kit TCCD Platin
2 x Samsung HD160JJ SATA2 8,9/7200/8MB (Raid 0)
evga 7800gt co (20 piplines)
Enermax EG565AX-VE(W)FMA / 535Watt

Now my Problem....

The correct facts of the card are 470 / 1100
I overclocked it to 480 / 1200 (runs stable)
but i got very poor 3D Marks

3D Mark 2003 = 15673 Points
3D Mark 2005 = 7023 Points

Think it should be extrem more.

Habe installed the 81.98_forceware_winxp2k_english_whql.exe
and
nForce4_amd_6.70_winxp2k_english.exe

Can someone help my why my System is so slow?

CPU Athlon64
CPU Takt 2800 MHz Speicher
Athlon64 2800 MHz
Chipsatz nForce4
Speicher Dual PC4500 DDR
Readspeed 7403 MB/s
Writespeed 2482 MB/s
Speicher DDR 2.5-4-3-7 38.4 ns

Try uninstalling your drivers and running a driver wipe with driver cleaner. Then reinstalling drivers to see if that fixes the problem.

I have almost the same setup (see sig), but not the expert board. My eVGA 7800GT is clocked slightly ( I think 450/1100 from 445/1070) and I get 7,690 in 3DMark05 and 16,394 in 3DMark03.

If your system is a fresh install, check for disc fragmentation and defrag. You will be surprised. I'm using the 81.98 drivers and coolbits to clock.

What are your Sandra memory scores? What timings are you running at? FSB? HTT?

aa = off
af = off
image settings = high performance
vsync = off

is there something else to disable?

Installed Sandra now, but i dont know the program. Can u tell my the way to the the scores? My timings are 2,5 - 4 - 3 -7
Its no Problem that the Memory Slot selection is 3 and 4 ?
FSB 280. Multi 10. It runs @ 2.8 Ghz

after defrag = 3D Mark 2005 = 7023 Points

you need the memory in slots 2 and 4 (orange) preferably OR 1 and 3 (yellow). If you are running slots 3 and 4 you are not running DC with your memory.

CPC enabled??

I'm running 9x300FSB, 1:1, with the timings at 8-4-4-2.5-1T (CPC enabled= 1T). Bank interleave on?

Try the 704-2a bios.

My System runs @ 10x280, 1:1 with the timings @ 8-3-4-2.5-1T (CPC enabled= 1T)

Now testet i with 9,5x295, 1:1 with the timings @ 8-4-4-2.5-1T and i got 7125 Points

gonna test it with 8-3-4-2.5-1T now

gonna post results in 15 minutes

think i have found the problem!
My CPU (3700+) runs @ 2.8 Ghz, but i get only 4080 Points at CPU Test (3DMark05)
Think the Sandjego is not good for overclocking :)

Now i test another CPU

But even a 3000+ will do more than 7k with that video card...

Processor doesn't have that big an effect on 3dm05.

I got 7400 with a single eVGA 7800GT (445/1070). 8354 with that same GT @ 510/1200.

I have a slower processor and RAM, so dont let anyone tell you your scores are fine.

How do games play? Can you give us some game FPS?

I tried another Card (Aopen 7800 GT). It runs with another CPU on the same board (same bios) and brings 7650 points (430/1100) and 8300 Points (480/1180)
But on my System also 6980 Points (470/1100)..... :( So i think my Card is ok...

3D Mark05

Have made some tests with Sandra...

Sandra_Arithmetik

Sandra_Speicherbandbreiten.jpg

Sandra_CPU_multimedia

SandraSystem

cpuz

superpi

everest

So i think the Ram is ok, The Harddrives are ok, the Card is ok and the CPU too........

WHY I GET SUCH BAD POINTS???????????????????????

Could the board be bad?

SuperPI score looks good...

you're just not getting quite the PCI-e performance you should be.

Have you tried different memory? How does it perform with lower memory speed (ie. set it to DDR333)? What is HTT setting? 3x?
