For those of us who haven't followed the news on the latest video cards -- there is a difference b/n the 7800GT and the 7800GTX lines, right??

Did Monarch raise the price by ~$40 shortly after you posted this? I been watching for days and it's still over $400 ($395 before shipping). $400 is too heavy a price for a vid card (for me).

I'm still debating whether to get the ram deal (few hours left to decide). It's pretty good ram I think..would it be better to get some of the $90 standard PC-3200 instead?

Apparently they did. Originally it was $390 and $360 AR + $6.80 for shipping. Well, 30 minutes left on the RAM.

Yea, I was looking at this and was disappointed to see the price increase from 390 to 425 or so....basically undoing the rebate.

What is actually hotter, is the 7800GT w/ battlefield for 390 (free ship) at monarch which is still good, and best of all, no rebate. Basically brings the cost down to 350 if you were planning on buying BF2.

I haven't had any problems with them. I ordered most of the stuff in my current system about 3 weeks ago and they got it to me in California four days after I ordered.

I bought from monarch recently and i dont think I'm going to again. First it was that they couldn't verify my CC so i had to play the email game back and forth (since they dont want you to call them) and once i finally got that settled I've now been waiting 4 days for order to ship :(

 to monarch from me

Hehe, same thing happened to me with my cc a few weeks back. I now use the cc i have verified with paypal. That seems
to be a lot betther since its a verified address even though the bill goes to a p.o. box. Anyhow i ordered one of the evga video/mobo
combos last Thursday and it still hasnt shipped yet. Emailed them last night and i got a reply back saying
"There was a small inventory issue on the EVGA bundle. This has been corrected, and if all goes as planned you will have the parts in hand before the holiday weekend".
So hopefully it ships very soon if i expect to see it by this weekend. I kind of doubt it though since its thursday already.

Thats why I love Newegg. If you can order it it is in stock. Non of the... oh we kinda out, but take your order anyway.

If I was able to put it in my cart at Newegg it shipped mostly the same day if not latest the next. Worth it's weight in gold!
