That does sound like a nice deal. How much gain would I get going from an x850pro?

Yeah, I've heard that this card is about on par with an 850xt. So you would gain a little, but not much over your 850pro. For you the best bang for the $ would be an X1950XT agp, but they cost a bit more than this thing.

This should be the Overclocked CO version (that's what I received last month from Fry's when they had this deal last).

Keep what you have and do not waste your money. The X850 is comparable to the 7800GS.

Can anyone tell me how much power this uses? I have a vanilla 6800 now, so this would give me a nice boost, but my power supply is just about maxed out already.

Edit: Better yet, does anybody have a link to a nice chart that shows all the different models, Nvidia and ATI, and gives all the stuff we need to know whether it's worth it to upgrade?

Similarly, I wonder if it's worth upgrading a 7600 GS to this, on an old rickety AMD (not sure what it is, the BIOS changes how the chip looks, but it's running as a 2200+).
