hey. took me a while, but decided to connect the desktop to the tv. the evga 7600gt came with a s-video like connector for the card, that comes out to RGB , rca like connectors. connected one by one to my toshiba tv... through properties I turned on the secondary display... when I switch between sources on the tv, it goes from 1 to 3, to dvd... skipping 2 (the RGB connection).
the properties show the screen is connected... and I can even switch it to be the main display ( but then I can't do anything, 'cause everything opens up there, and there= I can't see it.).
tried a couple of things. took out the Y RGB cable, switched to source 2, and then put the cable back in. nothing, still blue screen, but from my desktop display i can travel with my mouse (and windows I drag) to ... wherever the secondary display is supposed to be.
so the computer recognizes a connection, but the tv isn't getting the signal for a reason. any chance anyone knows why ?
