ive searched long and hard on google but never really got anywhere.

so im hoping here someone can help here. i have the newest bios installed already for my mobo and i got a intel q6600 but i dont think that matters.

anyways my problem is that no matter what setting i use for the Fan speeds, it will not do anything. so even if i make the NB fan go to 1000 RPM it wont change the speed at all.

im hoping this is yet another problem that should be fixed in the near future in another bios release.

but is there currently a solution that i am unaware of?

thanks much.

Does the NB even come with a fan. If not and your using your own it has to be the correct kind of fan for the motehrboard to taike control of it. It should have one of those 4 pin fan headers for the motherboard to contol it.

yes it comes with a fan, it spins at a horrible 5400RPM and is just stupid loud. i took it right off and replaced it with a vantec stealth. but i still wanna control my Aux fan, SYS fan, and other fan. all 80mm. i should be able to . but the settings dont work no matter where u set the settings to.
