All of a sudden I get this error when I try and boot my PC. C1 seems to be related to memory but unless both of my Crucial 10th anniv. RAM just went bad I find it hard to believ e that it's definately RAM.
I recently went through the replacement process for the boards that do not overclock for Quad Core owners and this board is supposed to be the latest and greatest or so I thought.

I reset CMOS on board. No video appears at all, just long beep, pause, long beep when I try and boot.

Any ideas on what else to try?

It was definately the RAM. one stick would not work in any slot. Plugged the other stick in DIMM 1 and it booted right up.

Already set up RMA with Crucial. Since they do not sell the 10th anniversary any more they are sending me comparable Ballistix modules. Are they just as good?

Also, it better not be this motherboard eating up my RAM or I am sending it back to evga.......in pieces.

BTW I figured I may want to get another 2GB set. Are teh buffalo brand RAM pretty good?
I also see some corsair for a good price after MIR.

Buffalo is good. Have several and all OC well. They also run perfectly in 680i which cannot be said of many brands.
