EVGA 6800NU OC'ed Core Clock Throttles in CS:S

I have a problem with my EVGA 6800NU (with VF700-CU) when playing CS:S. I've overclocked the card using coolbits to 370/790 (in both 2d and 3d mode). In the game the core clock all of a sudden drops to stock speeds (325 Mhz) after a few minutes of playing. I'm measuring the clocks and temps (~45 C) using RivaTuner. This doesn't happen when running rthdrbl or 3dMark05 which pushes the core temps higher than in CS:S. This happens with and without the pipes/vertex shader unlocked. I do not see any artifacts within the game.

Is there a setting within RivaTuner I can configure to disable the core clock throttling? Or is there anything else I can do?

Thanks,
