Evga 6800gt...

Does anyone know if the 6800 gt's are dual display? My card has a dvi and vga out but don't know if I can have an lcd and crt hooked up at the same time. I'm guessing only the ultras have dual display but want to make sure before I try it on mine and screw something up, thanks!

Yes it is dual display just not dual DVI...2 VGAs or one DVI and one VGA.

I haven't seen a 6800GT without dual display, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there, I have no clue 😛

I don't know of any graphics card in recent times that wasn't dual display.

Kinda makes you wonder, where's the tri or quad display ability with the cards that are dual slot (I know it'd be expensive and everything).

I think Matrox makes a tri-display model of their Parhelia cards. I remember seeing a Matrox card with three VGA outputs on it.

Thanks for the replies guys, looks like I'll have to try out my 19" lcd and 21" crt at the same time. You're right about the matrox cards, at work my computer has a g450 in it with 3 17" crts hooked up to it for 3072x768.
