yay below msrp ny a reasonable amount

Check the price in about an hour or two... ;)

$373.

What, you wanted to beat Newegg so you did it by $1? ;)

Anyway, nice price form a store outside CA.

Still debating between this or a X800XL.

Well, there's also free shipping on it too at least! ;) I know, I know, not too dramatic, but a good deal and I have a bunch on hand. (BTW, I'm not the one that sets the prices, I just told purchasing that people wanted a better price)

Thanks Joe!! Prices just keep getting better at Monarch!! You don't happen to also have a coupon, say 10% off, so I can get my mobo, cpu, memory, and hard drive there too do you?

nice price, don't get me wrong, it's just that I'm not sure if the X800XL situation might cause the 6800GT to drop even more in the near future. Sure, the 6800GT has the SLI upgrade option which the X800XL doesn't, but that couldn't be worth $100, given the fact that only a fraction of people will use sli. So I expect nvidia to reduce the price of 6800GT by $50 (or offer a rebate), and then we'll ba able to buy it for $300-325 when a good deal comes along and offers it for like 10% below msrp. I think this will happen within a a couple of months most likely, as the X800XL ramps up sales volumes and nvidia has to react to it. just my $0.02

I would have to pay $22 in tax if I went with newegg.
Hopefully the 6800 GT will drop even lower soon.
