The thread title sums my question up... just how noisy is it? Anyone know the dBA rating?

i can only hear mine when the fan spins up during bootup. its not very loud, but i have 5 case fans and a loud hd so im not sure.
if you want to make it quiet, just slap an NV5 on there...those are almost silent.

Like i have the guts to do that! I'd be too scared to...

Same here...i jus got the guts to use a Zalman instead of the stock CPU Heatsink and fan =X

Im thinking of getting this card as well, or maybe even the ultra version. How hot would it run if i got it up to ultra speeds. I have a nice Tsunami case with good air flow. I have a 2.6 3200 winchester running in low 30's on air. I have great air flow and 3 open PCI slots under my VGA, so plenty of room to keep cool.

It's not that loud. I replaced my stock cooler with an nV5, and now it's inaudible. any noise decrease is nice 🙂
