I just got Evga 6600GT 128MB AGP. I installed it overclocked to 555/1.06 and ran 3dmark05
and got a score of 3105. I looked arround forums and my score seems to be lower than average, any ideas to why or what i can do to improve it??

I think 3100 is close to what you should be getting, I'm skeptical of anyone that says their 6600gt gets over 3500. In fact, my bro's 6600gt gets 2700, now THAT's below average. Also, try other benchmarks, like Aquamark and 3dmark03, so you get a more accurate picture.

what is the best provider to buy the 6600GT (like evga, msi, chaintech, etc)???

I like my MSI, I did some research before I bought it and alot of people said it had the best cooling. I've got mine OC'ed @ 550/1100 and I get 3134 3DMark05 and 8188 3DMark03. Also I'm running the stock drivers (71.22).

well one way to increase ur score would be to increase ur processor speed....i guess if u used a FX-55 u may just touch 3500....ur score is just about right for ur current configuration.

My opinion: eVGA

Well, I put a vf700cu on my 9800p, and I'm running 450 on the core stable, up from the default 380. The max stable is 460, but I don't want to push it too hard. On stock cooling, I was getting artifacts at 412. My aquamark score went from like 40000 to 52000. I'd say it was worth it, and it runs really quiet too. If you are going to install an aftermarket cooler, I'd definitely recommend the vf700 over anything else. But you will void you warranty on the card, just so you know.

That score does sound a little low to me. I build the following rig last week

ECS Nforce3 a939
Athlon 64 3000+ oc to 2200mhz
1 gig ram
pci express evga 6600gt oc to 585/1150

At stock speeds I was getting about 3450 or so, but with the processor and video card overclocked I am getting 3842 in 3dmark05.

well, you have to think what quality srtting is it on,. many of the people put quality setting no high performance to get the super high 3dmarks while you probably have high quality set in the drivers. I gained 300 points going from quality to performance.
