EVGA 650 GQ 210-GQ-0650-V1 80+ GOLD 650W Modular EVGA ECO Mode Power Supply
Newegg's got that PSU for $69.99 FS + $6.99 ship - $10 MIR right now.
Only a 5-year warranty, but 100% Japanese Caps, EVGA quality, 80Plus Gold rating.
Seems like the currently-cheapest 80Plus Gold with Jpn Caps?
Looking for something "enthusiast decent", 80Plus Gold, Jpn caps, decent warranty, etc.
Rig is a Ryzen 3 1200 (potentially OC from 3.1Ghz to 3.8Ghz), RX 560 or RX 570 card, 16GB DDR4-3000, one SATA SSD, some USB devices, not much else. Not really a very heavy rig.
I actually just built it for my friend yesterday, and it behaved OK at my place, but I dropped him back off with the new PC, and overnight, it started rebooting on him. (Starting at a "Movie Site", which makes me suspect maybe some sort of exploit or mining trojan.) Or maybe his so-so Rosewill Glacier 80Plus Bronze / 3-year warranty (brand new out of the box yesterday) PSU is already failing. Not the greatest reviews when it comes to DOA PSUs. I had him remove the overclock, 3.8Ghz @ 1.375V which should have been straightforward.
